I live a blessed life getting to do what brings me joy. I love to invent and fabricate. My vision is to create original three-dimensional products and projects that move people.
Down below is a typical version of my resume, However the short casual version is that I grew up drawing cars, making art, and building things. After high school I studied Mechanical Engineering for two years at Akron before graduating with my five year BFA degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art. I’m proud of that education and would love to do it again. After graduation, I Immediately began my career at General Motors Design Center in Warren Michigan. That was a super experience in a neat environment and I have some cool stories. Six years later my free-spirit family moved to Celebration Florida where I anxiously began my self employment. I set up my shop in Kissimmee and began fabricating and selling my own designs. I have been doing that ever since. In 2008 we decided to come back home where my wife and I were both born and raised. We are raising three children, and a couple animals.
I create unique Furniture, Sculpture, Environments and Widgets. I work in many mediums, and can do custom casting in plaster, stone, or even plastic. My process begins with many sketches and remains very fluid throughout physical construction. I am compulsive about the fit and finish, my work is usually punctuated by my obsession with mathematics, geometry, pattern, texture, and repetition. Visually, I am drawn toward and inspired by constructivist, modern and postmodern styles. My work is often highlighted by my love of satire and parody.
All my work here on this website is original and fabricated from raw materials.
